What is forex trading?

Foreign exchange is the simultaneous buying of one currency and selling of another, always quoted as a pair such as EUR/USD. You profit — or lose — from how the exchange rate between the two moves while your position is open.

It is the largest and most liquid market on earth, turning over trillions of dollars a day across overlapping sessions in Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York. That depth is why majors price tightly and fills stay fast, even in size.

At Bondricks you trade forex as a margined contract for difference: post a fraction of the notional, go long or short with equal ease, and let our aggregated liquidity find the best available price on every order.

FAQ

Forex trading — your questions answered

A Standard account starts from just $50, and you can open a micro position for a small amount of margin. We always recommend sizing positions so a single trade risks only a small fraction of your balance.

On the Premier account the raw aggregated spread on majors like EUR/USD can compress to zero in deep liquidity; a transparent fixed commission per lot applies instead of a marked-up spread.

Yes. Because every position is a CFD, selling a pair is exactly as simple as buying it — there is no borrowing step and no directional restriction.

Continuously from Sunday 22:00 UTC to Friday 22:00 UTC, following the global session handover. Liquidity is deepest during the London–New York overlap.

Leverage sets the margin you post against the full notional. At 1:500 a 100,000 EUR/USD position requires roughly 200 EUR of margin. Higher leverage magnifies both gains and losses.
